The banners above show links to other products and services that ( Google) feel would be of interest to the blogger. I am pleased to see that it has just presented links to Aston Martin Vanquish and Monaco. The Bentley Boys blog must look well heeled - in html code at least! Their software obviously doesn't check into the credit card details that must be encoded somewhere in this puter as it would more likely throw up Morris Minor and Margate..but at least it's a change to viagra advertising !

Gareth has reminded me of the full quote from The Italian Job - When the Noel Coward character pays a visit to the Governor - as played by John Le Mesurier...I quote "Last night Mr Governor, my toilet was broken in to!". Then he went on to say ".. this is symptomatic of the slipshod unimaginative management that is driving this country into the gutter!"

One step forward, two steps back...

Back to reality after a great few days in northern France and the (now for me) annual pilgrimage to Le Mans 24 Hour sports car race and the hallowed ground that is The Hotel de France in La Chartre Sur Le Loir. The main computer is still kaput, well, after about 5 minutes of clunking and groaning... so today a slightly different race, to download the pictures from the compact flash cards and copy to CDR - I am pleased to report that the CD software completed it's work simultaneously with the computer crashing for today and who knows, forever! So, to the laptop and a dial up connection ( don't expect too many pics for a while ! )
Now that David has discovered a hardly used Canon SLR Digital camera in his camera bag, there may even be a few of his make it online sooner than the regular film can be processed, scanned and published.
Until I have a scanner to hand, some of the pics from Gareth's trip to Indianapolis (you have probably heard mention of that already ;)I hope to upload may be a while yet.
